Alexandria Port – Alexandria, Egypt (2019)

In 2019, Lumera implemented a Delta Controls building management system (BMS) at Alexandria Port, one of Egypt’s largest and most strategic maritime logistics hubs. The smart automation system was deployed to streamline infrastructure management and enhance operational control across critical port facilities.

The solution improved real-time visibility, automation, and energy efficiency in managing essential building services — including HVAC, lighting, and environmental monitoring systems. By introducing centralized control and fault detection, the port gained better resource utilization and reduced downtime in a high-demand, high-traffic environment.

This project showcases Lumera’s ability to deploy robust BMS solutions in industrial and logistics settings, supporting infrastructure resilience at one of Egypt’s most important commercial gateways.
