In 2023, Lumera successfully implemented a Delta Controls building management system (BMS) at Nasr Petroleum Company in Suez, Egypt, enhancing the facility’s energy efficiency, automation, and operational control. This smart building automation project included the deployment of the Delta Controls O3 Hub and mobile app — enabling real-time environmental control from any location.

A standout feature of this project was the full automation of the COO’s executive office. Using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi geofencing, the system detects when the COO is approaching the building, automatically adjusting the lighting and temperature to personalized settings before entry. While a wall-mounted O3 Touch controller provides local control, the Delta Controls app allows for advanced routines, remote scheduling, and intelligent scene-setting based on time of day or occupancy.
